If you’re a fan of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) or MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) in general, I can almost guarantee you’ve seen a Team Lloyd Irvin fighter in the cage.
Just over a week ago, Mike Easton fought his 2nd fight in the UFC, winning for the second time and going to 11-1 overall. It was an absolutely action-packed fight from start to finish, with Mike winning the Unanimous Decision. Mike is quickly moving up the ladder in the 135 lbs division, where Team Lloyd Irvin teammate Dominick Cruz holds the belt.
This past Saturday, Phil Davis fought in the main event against Rashad Evans. Phil fought valiantly but lost a 5-round decision to the former Light Heavyweight Champion. This was Phil’s first loss, and he’s now 9-1. There’s no question he’ll come back stronger and better than ever.
Next up, Dominick Cruz will coach on the Ultimate Fighter against Urijah Faber then they’ll settle their fued with a rubbermatch (Cruz defeated Faber to retain his title in 2010, lost to Faber in one of his first fights).
So when you hear that Team Lloyd Irvin is “taking over” you can be sure it’s no exaggeration. Stay tuned for more news and click HERE to start your FREE Month of Training now!
