One thing we’re very serious about at Paramount Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is building a strong foundation when it comes to grappling and BJJ. That’s why I’ve created the “BJJ Basics” classes, specifically designed for the beginner who wants a solid understanding of Jiu-Jitsu.
The BJJ Basics classes consist of a rotating curriculum of all the “must-know” techniques in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and it’s the reason why our students always medal at tournaments. Here are a just few of Team Lloyd Irvin’s recent competition titles:
- 2010 Rupture Northeast Championships Overall Team Champions
- 2010 World Series of Grappling Overall Team Champions
- 2010 IBJJF World Championships Youth Team Champions
- Grapplers Quest Team of the Decade 1999-2009
- 2009 Northeast Team Challenge Champions
None of these titles would be possible without a complete grasp on the Basics, something that Paramount BJJ and Team Lloyd Irvin have specialized in for years now.
