It’s hard to believe, but this September Paramount Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) will be 10 years old. We’ll be celebrating this milestone on Sunday, August 23rd at our Downingtown, PA location.
On September 5th, 2005 the very first class was held inside a racquetball court at The Edge Health & Fitness Center in Exton, PA. The class was free, and we had around a dozen people show up. Several of them actually enrolled that very night, and the journey began. A journey that led to the United Sports Training Center, in Downingtown, and ultimately to our current location in the Trestle Bridge Business Park.
Over the years there have been several people who had a tremendous impact on Paramount’s success, including friends, instructors and students. This will be a great opportunity to give thanks to each of them.
We’ll have a tent and chairs set up, along with food and drinks, as well as games and raffles. Students are welcome to bring as many friends and family as they’d like. Let’s make this a party to remember!
