Exposing Weaknesses

This past weekend we took some of our competitors to a small Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament with one focus: Expose the major weaknesses in their game so we can correct those mistakes.

The top mistake being made was positioning inside the closed guard, specifically posture. If you’re on top and you allow your opponent to break your posture and pull you down you’re going to be in trouble.

The next big mistake was in executing a gameplan effectively. One of our students intended to pull guard, but when he got his grips he waited and his opponent pulled guard first. The result was a 0-0 loss that could have been a win if the gameplan was followed.

Rest assured these mistakes will be addressed TODAY, we’re producing champions so we waste no time. The drills in tonight’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class will be intense!
