This past Saturday the Fight to Win Pro Jiu-Jitsu event returned to Philadelphia and both Coach Brad and Abi took to the stage and emerged victorious. A crowd packed with Paramount BJJ students and TAC Team BJJ teammates cheered them on.
Coach Brad’s match started with his opponent attempting to pull him into the guard. Coach Brad quickly passed the guard, took his opponent’s back and began working on the choke. He was able to set up and finish an ezekiel choke, forcing his opponent to tap out at 3:02 into the match.
Abi took charge of her match right away, establishing dominant grips and going straight for the armlock. She stayed aggressive and was able to get a sweep to the mount position, and continue to attack submissions until the final bell. All 3 judges gave her the victory
This Saturday is the Tap Cancer Out event at United Sports Training Center in Downingtown. We’re bringing a big squad, come out and support Team Paramount!
