This weekend Grappling Industries held their spring Philadelphia event and Paramount Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brought a big squad to do battle on the mats.
At the end of the event, we took home the 1st Place Team trophy for the adult divisions, out of 152 academies. This is the third time that our adult competitors have won the Grappling Industries overall team title.
We also took 2nd Place Team for the kids & teens divisions, out of 59 participating teams. This marks our first team placing at Grappling Industries for kids & teens divisions.
Congratulations to all of the champions and medalists whose victories earned us the trophies!
We also must acknowledge the competitors who, despite not winning or medaling, raised the level of energy and enthusiasm for team with their effort.
Thank you to all of the coaches, teammates and supporters who came out to cheer us on, and thank you to everyone at Paramount who makes the training sessions so tough. The harder the training is, the easier the tournaments are.
