BJJ United head instructor and Master Lloyd Irvin’s first ever black belt Jared Weiner returns today from Illinois where he won the 2011 IBJJF Chicago International Open. Jared was coming off the Rio Open where he was unable to medal and was hungry to avenge that performance.

In the semi-finals he defeated Renato Tavares, a Carlson Gracie black belt, 2-0 with a takedown. In the finals he faced UFC fighter and Megaton black belt Kyle Watson, and won 5-0 with a sweep and a pass.
