This past Saturday the Youth BJJ Competition Team, consisting of 9 students from Paramount BJJ, traveled to the Marple Sports Arena in Broomall for the NAGA PA Championships. Some highlights from the event included:
- Team Captain and Green belt Connor Smith leading the team through a group warm-up
- Keanu’s double Gold in the expert divisions (gi and no-gi)
- Milind and Caden closing out the their intermediate division
- Steve Evans’s come-from-behind victory, scoring 11 points after being down 5-0.

All of the kids competed well, and despite some inexperience and adversity they all showed mental toughness, a good indication of future success. Stay tuned for upcoming events and results, there are tournaments each of the next 3 weekends.
