This weekend the Newbreed Ultimate Challenge Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) tournament was held in Hatfield, PA and we sent a small group of students to represent Paramount BJJ. The best way to know whether or not you’re learning REAL Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is to test it against real resistance, and tournaments are a great way to do that.
Here are the results:
- Greg Hagner: Gold in No-Gi (Submission Wrestling) division, Silver in gi (BJJ) division
- Ian Murphy: Gold in No-Gi, and Gold in Gi.
- Rick Heist: Gold in No-Gi, Bronze in Gi.
Congratulations to all of the competitors for bringing home the hardware and once again showing how tough and technical Paramount BJJ students are.
