Our Cleaning Policies

We take the health and safety of our members and our community very seriously. We are monitoring the news with respect to COVID-19 for any developments. In the meantime we’d like to share with you the policies and measures we take to ensure that you’re training in a safe and clean environment.

What we do:

As a daily practice since day one, we mop the mats with a combination of Pine Sol and Clorox Bleach in hot water. This is among the most effective ways to disinfect and kill bacteria and viruses.

We also wipe down all other surfaces throughout the day with our Lysol disinfectant wipes, including equipment and training gear, tables and seating, etc.

We’ve also provided hand sanitizer at the front desk for members and staff to use as they wish.

What you can do:

Always wash all of your training gear and equipment after every use. This includes uniforms, belts, gloves, hand wraps, etc.

Use the Lysol disinfectant wipes that we’ve provided to wipe down pads or gloves that you used during class.

Always wear shoes or footwear to the restroom.

Stay home if you are sick.

The CDC always recommends everyday preventative actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  • Stay home when you are sick
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Follow CDC’s recommendations for using a facemask.
  • Wash your hands often and with soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, and sneezing.
  • If soap is not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if they are visibly dirty.
