Congratulations to Paramount BJJ students Anthony Pacinelli and Ray Hawkins on their performances this past weekend at the largest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament in the world.
Anthony took Silver in his weight class, while Ray earned a Bronze. Since they medaled they qualified for the open, where they both came away with Bronze. On the way to his Bronze in the open, Anthony defeated the man who beat him in the weight class, avenging the loss.
Even though most of our students don’t compete, it’s great to see the ones who do succeed. Their results are the culmination of their hard work, as well as the daily effort their teammates put in.
