On August 6th, the world’s most popular MMA event- Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), comes to Philadelphia as former champions Rashad Evans and Tito Ortiz rematch at UFC 133.
Evans was originally scheduled to fight undefeated Team Lloyd Irvin prospect Phil Davis, but after Davis sustained a knee injury Ortiz was pegged as his replacement. Evans and Ortiz fought to a controversial draw in 2007, and both are looking to settle the score.
While Evans relies mostly on his wrestling, he is a BJJ black belt under Rolles Gracie. He’ll need those grappling skills when facing Ortiz, who’s coming off an impressive submission of former contender Ryan Bader.
