Wrestling Clinic & Open Mat – 8/21
Penn State wrestler and Paramount BJJ purple belt Josh Hammaker will be running a wrestling clinic on Sunday, August 21st at 10am for students in the Intermediate & Elite classes. Don’t miss it! Following the clinic will be an open mat for all members.
Labor Day Schedule – 9/3 to 9/5
Saturday: 11am Open mat
Sunday: 10am Leglock class
Monday: 11am Open mat
Muay Thai Promotions (adults) – 9/10
On Saturday the 10th during class (11am) Coach Mike and Coach Pete will be promoting several hard-working students in our Muay Thai program. If you train Muay Thai be sure to attend!
BJJ Stripe Test (adults) – 9/10
The first of our fall 2022 adult BJJ white belt stripe tests will take place Saturday the 10th at 11am. A sign-up sheet will be available at the front desk 2 weeks prior to the test. Please do not attend unless you’ve signed up, and if you sign up but cannot make it please let us know.
Kids BJJ Stripe Tests/PromotionsÂ
The Lil Ninjas, Youth, and Teens BJJ stripe tests and promotions will take place within the first two weeks of September. Details will be provided in class by the instructors.
Instructor Training Course – 9/24
Due to popular demand this year we’ll be holding a second Instructor Training Course. It will be on Saturday, Sept. 24th from 3-5:30pm. *Anyone can attend, regardless of experience, and there is no fee, and no obligation to become an instructor. We’ve had a hard time lately with some of the children who aren’t taking class getting onto the other mats, into the workout area (dangerous!), or running around causing a ruckus. They don’t always listen to Paramount staff. Please keep an eye on your children to make sure they’re behaving. Thank you!
