Additional Safety Measures | Nov. 17, 2020

In order to reduce the chance of potential spread and school closure we will be instituting new safety measures at Paramount BJJ, effective immediately. These are in addition to the safety measures already in place (see HERE).

Please see below for details.

Instructors wear masks at all times. Since many instructors teach multiple classes, it’s especially important that they help reduce the chance of spread by wearing masks both off and on the mats.

Enter and exit the same room as your class. The goal here is to eliminate traffic between rooms and further prevent potential spread between classes. Monday-Friday morning and Tuesday noon students can enter through the front since those classes do not coincide with any others, nor do any classes start or end around those times.

Additional Monday night BJJ and Wednesday night No-Gi classes with limited-attendance*. The first will be at 7pm and the second at 8:30pm. Both Monday classes will have a limit of 14 people per session and both Wednesday sessions will have a limit of 12 to help spread out the classes. The Mon & Weds 8:30 BJJ/No-Gi class will take place on the front mat space. All other classes will continue to take place in their current rooms.

Students will need to sign up for the Monday and Wednesday evening BJJ/No-Gi classes in advance, which can be done up to 3 days prior to the class at calendly.com/paramountbjj.

*This is a trial run until Dec.10th, after which we will determine whether to continue or return to the regular schedule. As always, feedback and suggestions from members is welcomed and appreciated.
