US Grappling Results | BJJ in Downingtown PA

Each year US Grappling holds the Diamond State Games in Newark Delaware. The venue is less than an hour from Paramount BJJ, so we always send a strong team of competitors. Here are the results from this year’s event, held yesterday:

  • Abi Durrant: Gold in no-gi featherweight, Gold in white belt featherweight, Gold in gi open.
  • Elijah Elder: Gold in no-gi heavyweight, Gold in white belt heavyweight, Silver in no-gi open, Silver in white belt open.
  • Rick Heist: Gold in no-gi super-heavyweight, Silver in white belt open
  • Greg Hagner: Gold in no-gi superheavy, Gold in no-gi open.
  • Brandon Pacinelli: Gold in gi, Gold in no-gi (juvenile)
  • Steve Evans: Gold in gi (juvenile)
  • Cole Pacinelli: Silver in no-gi (juvenile)

With 9 competitors we took home 11 Gold medals, 4 Silver. Each competitor also gained the invaluable experience that only competition can give a person, a sense of accomplishment and the feeling of conquering a goal
