The IBJJF Master World Championships is one of the most prestigious Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments on the planet, and the final major tournament of the year. A blue belt for only 11 months, Greg Hagner stepped onto the mats this weekend in Long Beach and proved that he’s one of the best in the world in his division.
In the quarterfinals, Greg defeated his opponent 7-0 and moved into the medal rounds. The semi-final match would be tougher but again Greg prevailed, this time by referee decision. Although he fell short in the final by a score of 4-2, Greg represented Paramount BJJ well and everyone is proud of his performance.
